The first-ever PokerGO Tour (PGT) PLO Roundup at Champions Club Texas in Houston wrapped up with Lawrence Chang taking down the $3,300 buy-in Main Event for a career-best $300,000.

The pot-limit Omaha series in Texas was a success with big prize pools and plenty of entries, including notable names like reigning WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo, Isaac Kempton and Josh Arieh. The six-time bracelet winner complimented the dealers, staff and food and even dubbed the Houston poker club the “new PLO capital of the world.”

The $1 million guaranteed Main Event drew 474 entrants to push the prize pool to over $1.4 million. The event paid 55 places, and those who cashed included Sean Troha, Ren Lin, Anthony Hu, Michael Wang and Martin Zamani, according to PokerGO updates.

Chang, a Houston native, bested heads-up opponent Andrew Ige after navigating a final table that included Senovio Ramirez (3rd – $120,000), Sterling Savill (4th – $80,000) and Kyle Arora (5th – $60,000).
