PokerStars Jet Set Season Is In Full Swing; Results From the Three Biggest Events So Far

PokerStars Jet Set Series

The Jet Set Season returned to PokerStars on June 6, and dozens of events have already crowned their champions, including three tournaments that boasted six-figure prize pools. The more affordable Jet Set Season events are proving popular with the online poker giant’s customers, as evidenced by the $55 No-Limit Hold’em Jet Set Getaway and $33 No-Limit Hold’em PKO Season Opener smashing their guaranteed prize pools by $62,450 and $30,050, respectively.

Episode 07-M: $55 NLHE Jet Set Getaway Mystery Bounty had the largest prize pool of the series so far, thanks to 5,249 players buying in. PokerStars placed a $200,000 guarantee in its prize pool, but $262,450 was collected.

Although Uruguay’s “curbelo19” emerged victorious from this event and got their hands on a total prize worth $17,045, it was the fifth-place finisher who banked the most prize money. Fifth-place came with a $4,306 score, but “SSV117” collected a cool $16,436 worth of mystery bounties before busting, including one weighing in at more than $13,000.

PokerStars ambassador Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg was one of those entrants. The popular streamer reached the money placed but bowed out in the first couple of tiers of the regular prize pool payout structure.

Two players walked away having boosted their bankrolls with five-figure sums. “Rsiatat” was eliminated in second place and took home $10,435, while Argentina’s “zuRaik” netted $11,472 for their victory; both prizes included progressive bounties.
