PokerStars Ambassador Kerryjane Craigie has spent the first half of 2026 balancing a busy schedule off the felt with building momentum on it.
From running qualifiers for the recent PokerStars Open Namur to finalizing a massive new partnership in London, the upcoming months are shaping up to be a masterclass in community building.
In this latest update, Craigie reflects on a vibrant trip to Belgium with twenty women from her community, previews a packed summer schedule at the WSOP in Las Vegas, and shares an exclusive look at what’s on the horizon for women in poker.
It’s been a little while since my last update. Life, work, and the day job have been keeping me wonderfully busy, which means poker has had to share my attention with a few other priorities. But it’s great to be back on the road again.
PokerStars Open Namur

I was recently in Belgium for the PokerStars Open Namur, and I took with me some wonderful company. Twenty women from our community made the trip with me to experience everything this fantastic festival has to offer.
We ran qualifiers through our monthly Ladies Club, along with a sneaky little online qualifier, making sure everyone had the chance to win their way in and get maximum value from the trip. More importantly, it’s given a brilliant group of women the opportunity to share the experience together, with plenty of laughter alongside the poker.
The Women’s Event was an especially happy affair, and I’ve enjoyed seeing plenty of familiar faces and meeting new ones at the tables.
Heading to the 2026 WSOP

And now, my attention will turn to Las Vegas. I’m off to the WSOP, and this year’s schedule is packed with opportunity and excitement.
Once again, Team Hippo qualifiers will be joining me in Vegas, and I’m delighted that five of us will be taking our seats in the WSOP Ladies Championship on June 25th.
As always, the day will begin with one of my favourite annual traditions – the WPA Breakfast. It’s become a wonderful way to start the Ladies Championship, catching up with friends old and new before the cards are in the air. If you’re planning to play this year’s Ladies Championship, I’d highly recommend joining us. Keep an eye on the WPA Facebook page for full details.
This year’s breakfast will be particularly exciting, as I’ll be sharing details of several international initiatives that we’ll be launching throughout the year. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to start talking about some of the projects we’ve been working on.
Women’s Weekend London – October 16-18, 2026

Talking of announcements, I’m absolutely delighted to share the news of a new partnership with WPF that will see us host a dedicated Women’s Weekend at The Hippodrome Casino in London from 16th–18th October.
The weekend is designed to celebrate women in poker, whether you’re completely new to the game or already an experienced player. We’ll be hosting a women-only cash game stream, an afternoon bootcamp, followed by supper, poker chat, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other women who love the game.
Save the Date: Sunday 18th October – £300 buy-in Women’s Weekend Main Event (£20k GTD)
There’s much more to come, and we’ll be announcing full details in the months ahead. For now, pop the dates in your diary and keep an eye out for qualification opportunities on PokerStars (dates to be confirmed).
For now, though, it’s time to cheer on our traveling Team Hippo players and make some more memories around the tables.
Run golden, and see you in Las Vegas!
