Cumberland Farms convenience stores sold two $1 million lottery tickets in Massachusetts within two days of one another. The two incredibly lucky winners have yet to come forward to claim their prizes.
Two $10 Tickets Made Their Holders $1M Richer
It is a busy season for the Massachusetts Lottery as two players just won mouth-watering prizes of $1 million from its scratch-off games. As it turned out, both prizes came from tickets bought from Cumberland Farms shops.
On June 15, a player purchased a $4,000,000 EXTREME Cash ticket from the Cumberland $6705 in East Templeton. The $10 purchase quickly turned into an incredible $1 million payout for the lucky player.
According to the Massachusetts Lottery’s official website, there are still 6 prizes of $1 million left in the game. Additionally, none of the game’s two top prizes of $4 million have been won yet.
The second win came from a $4,000,000 Cash Doubler scratch-off ticket sold at the Cumberland Farms gas station located in Blackstone. This is another $10 game that ended up delivering a prize of some $1 million.
The Massachusetts Lottery site shows that the game featured 7 such prizes, 4 of which have already been won. The game also featured 3 top prizes of $4 million, only one of which has been won.
The wins, however, didn’t stop there.
Even More Wins Happened in the Past Few Days
In addition to the two winning tickets sold at Cumberland locations, the past few days saw the Massachusetts lottery award several seven-figure prizes.
On June 16, a player in Methuen purchased a winning ticket from Ted’s Stateline Mobil. The $4,000,000 IN THE MONEY ticket delivered yet another prize of $1 million.
On June 18, two $1 million wins happened. The wins came from a $4,000,000 LION’S SHARE ticket sold at Westboro Shell in Westboro, and a $4,000,000 Bonus Loot ticket sold at Lucky Spot Convenience in Randolph.
On the same date, a jaw-dropping $4 million win happened in Braintree, where a lucky ticket customer bought a winning Fabulous Fortune ticket.
Massachusetts lottery and casino fans have been winning big, with one lucky casino visitor at Encore Boston Harbor flipping a $3.75 bet on the Little Shop of Horrors slot machine into a stellar $25,000 payout in April.
