Gaming Corps Signs Major platform Deal with Microgame Italy | NewsBetting

Gaming-Corps-signs-landmark-Italian-distribution-agreement-with-MicrogameGaming Corps has entered a platform agreement with Italian service provider Microgame, marking a new distribution step for the Swedish game development company in one of Europe’s established regulated markets.

The agreement connects Gaming Corps’ content portfolio to Microgame’s network, which operates across Italy’s online gaming ecosystem. Microgame’s infrastructure supports both digital and land-based affiliated channels and is built around a multi-channel operating model. The company has positioned itself in the market with a focus on flexible integration, customised delivery structures, and ongoing technical development for operators.

Italy is widely recognised as a mature but highly competitive jurisdiction, where operators depend on aggregated platforms to source content and manage distribution. Within that structure, Microgame functions as a central service provider for licensed operators and brands, giving Gaming Corps access to a broad commercial footprint.

Football-themed releases form part of near-term rollout

The timing of the partnership aligns with Gaming Corps’ upcoming content schedule, which includes a stronger focus on sport-driven releases as the summer period approaches. Football-themed casino titles are expected to play a more visible role in operator lobbies during this phase.

Through Microgame’s operator base, the company will distribute a range of football-oriented games. These include entries from the Penalty Champion series as well as newer titles such as Goals to Glory: Football Fever and Goals to Glory: Instant Blitz. The content direction is aimed at aligning game releases with seasonal sporting interest and related promotional activity across casino platforms.

Alongside its football catalogue, Gaming Corps is also expanding its character-led franchise content. The 3 Pigs series remains part of the rollout strategy, with 3 Pigs of Olympus 2: Rise of the DemiHog scheduled for release later in the month. The game continues the Olympus-themed setting and introduces a new character addition while maintaining returning figures from earlier releases.

Operator access and product strategy take focus

Speaking on the agreement, Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, described the deal as an important step for the company’s position in Italy.

“This is a landmark deal for Gaming Corps in Italy and a launchpad for our next stage of growth in one of Europe’s largest regulated markets. Microgame is the market-leading service provider in Italy’s online gaming industry, offering extensive expertise, innovative solutions and broad access to licensed operators and brands throughout the country”.

He added that the partnership builds on existing experience in the region while changing the company’s operational reach. Greensmith pointed to the importance of adapting content output and maintaining responsiveness to market trends as part of future growth in the Italian segment.

“We already have deep rooted experience in Italy, but this agreement moves us into a different position. With a sharper content roadmap and the ability to respond nimbly to ever-evolving market trends, we see a real opportunity to build market share, grow our profile and deliver fantastic entertainment to players through Microgame.”

From an operational perspective, Gaming Corps also highlighted the importance of direct engagement with operators following integration. Key Account Manager Alessia Paiano outlined a more hands-on approach to partner relationships in Italy, with an emphasis on collaboration and regular contact with operator teams.

“This is an incredibly exciting moment for us in Italy. Microgame gives Gaming Corps access to a wide and highly influential operator base, but the real opportunity now is to build strong, collaborative relationships with those partners.”

Paiano noted that the focus will extend beyond distribution to include ongoing support and content alignment with operator needs. She also described planned engagement with local teams across Italy to better understand requirements and delivery expectations.

“My focus will be on working closely with Italian operators, visiting teams across the country, understanding what they need from us and making sure we deliver content, support and service that helps them achieve their goals.”

She added that visibility and responsiveness are key factors in establishing long-term positioning in the market, along with operational consistency and ease of integration for partners.

Content design and market positioning considerations

From Microgame’s perspective, the partnership adds another content supplier to its existing network, reinforcing its role as a central aggregator in Italy’s regulated gaming environment. The company highlighted the importance of content performance in competitive casino environments, where operators rely on distinctive game design to retain user engagement.

Francesco Cuzzupoli, Gaming and Sales Director at Microgame, emphasised the need for content that can quickly attract attention in crowded operator lobbies.

“Italy is a highly competitive market, and operators need content that can earn attention quickly. Gaming Corps brings a portfolio with sharp personality and a creative range that can help brands keep their casino offering original.”

He also pointed to the structure of Gaming Corps’ catalogue, noting that its development approach includes recognisable game formats and series-based content. According to Cuzzupoli, this allows operators more flexibility in shaping promotions and updating game selections in response to market demand and seasonal events.

“What appealed to us was not only the breadth of content, but the way Gaming Corps is building recognisable formats and game families with real campaign potential. That gives operators more freedom to shape their promotions, refresh their lobbies and respond to key moments in the entertainment calendar.”
