A man accused of involvement in a multi-state casino fraud scheme has been extradited back to Nevada after being transferred from a correctional facility in Iowa, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
Banned from 17 Casinos
The NGCB said enforcement agents successfully brought S.B. back to Nevada, where he faces multiple felony charges, including fraudulent acts and conspiracy to violate the Nevada Gaming Control Act.
Authorities allege the offenses are linked to a wider scheme targeting licensed gaming establishments across several states.
B. is accused of three felony counts of fraudulent acts and three felony counts of conspiracy to violate state gaming laws. Officials say the case stems from repeated alleged violations and financial losses suffered by regulated casinos, making him a high-priority subject for gaming regulators.
According to the NGCB, B. had previously been placed on Nevada’s “List of Excluded Persons” in December 2023 following multiple gaming law violations and being banned from 17 casinos in the state.
The exclusion list is used by regulators to bar individuals deemed to pose risks to licensed gaming operations.

The NGCB credited the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office in Iowa for helping with the initial 2025 arrest and also supporting the entire extradition process.
Authorities added that the coordinated effort reflects ongoing cooperation between state law enforcement agencies in tackling gaming-related crime.
“The NGCB remains fully committed to locating offenders, wherever they may be, to ensure they are brought to justice,” said Enforcement Division Chief Kristi Torgerson.
Officials added that, as the case is now proceeding through the courts, no further details will be released at this stage. The investigation remains ongoing.
