According to the airport’s official announcement on X, the lucky traveler won $3,307,158.11 on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Airport officials congratulated the player on the incredible win, saying:

A Woman Was Charged with Abandoning Her Dog at the Airport
While the airport is known as a place where many lucky travelers win big, sometimes bad things happen, too. Earlier this year, the authorities arrested a woman who abandoned her dog at the Harry Reid International Airport.
The woman in question was identified as Germiran Denae Nicole Bryson. While in a hurry to catch a flight, she forgot to complete her two-year-old goldendoodle mix’s paperwork. After failing to take the dog on the plane with her, the woman tied it to a JetBlue ticket counter and hurried to the gate.
However, the police soon started looking for the dog’s owner and found the woman. Despite her protests, she was led away and charged with abandoning the animal. She later failed to appear in court, causing authorities to issue a bench warrant.
