BGaming’s Alien Fruits 3 game takes players to a mysterious alien planet full of cacti, giant glowing mushrooms, and, of course, fruits. While the mushrooms and cacti are just for show, the cheeky little alien fruits are the true stars of the show.
With an 8×8 grid and Cluster Pays mechanic, scoring wins is easier than ever. To top it all off, the game boasts a tumble mechanic that removes winning symbols from the grid, only to replace them with new ones.
With Alien Fruits 3 being the latest addition to BGaming’s #Entertainment line, it also boasts a variety of different mechanics, including 5 different Spin Modifiers. The modifiers are represented by color-coded frames that empower certain positions as follows:
- Atomic (blue frame) – After all the refills of the current spin, Atomic clears the field of the symbols without payment
- Wild Fruit (pink frame) – After all the refills of the current spin, the feature turns all copies of the symbol within the frame into Wilds
- Cubes (yellow frame) – After all the refills of the current spin, this feature adds a 2×2 block to a random position
- Giant Symbol (red frame) – After all the refills of the current spin, Giant Symbol awards a 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5 symbol to a random position
- Fortune Wilds (green frame) – After all the refills of the current spin, Fortune Wilds adds between 5 and 15 Wilds to the grid
Enter a Cosmic Maelstrom
Alien Fruits 3 boasts a Progress Bar feature that gradually fills up with every tumble. Once the bar is full, the Cosmo Frenzy feature kicks off.
The Cosmo Frenzy feature has five levels, during each of which all five Spin Modifiers will activate in a row. If players fill up the Progress Bar anew, they will advance to the next level. The fifth and final level has a multiplier of 10x, allowing players to score huge wins.
The Cosmo Frenzy feature can be triggered instantly via the Buy Bonus feature. Alternatively, players can activate Chance x2 to double their chances of triggering Cosmo Frenzy with each spin.
Alex Baliukonis, game producer at BGaming, admitted that Cluster Pay slots can be challenging to balance. However, he believes that Alien Fruits 3 hit the right balance as even smaller wins can send players into a bonus round.
