The Pennsylvania Lottery has, on July 7, announced two big winners. One of them won a jaw-dropping $1 million a year for life, while the other won a singular $1 million prize. Both prizes came from the lottery’s scratch-off tickets.
The Second $1,000,000 a Year for Life Top Prize Lands
According to the PA Lottery’s latest releases, a lucky player in Franklin County now holds a winning $1,000,000 a Year for Life scratch-off ticket. This is notably the game’s top prize and is certain to turn the winner’s life around.
The Pennsylvania Lottery said that the winning ticket was sold at MARTIN’S on 500 North Antrim Way, Greencastle Boro, which will receive a $100,000 incentive bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In the meantime, the winner has yet to come forward. They were encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and immediately call a lottery official.
In any case, the winner will soon have to make a choice between the annuity option of $1 million or the one-time lump sum option of $14.5 million before taxes.
For reference, $1,000,000 A Year for Life is a $50 scratch-off ticket which, at launch, featured 5 top prizes of $1 million a year for life. According to the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website, there are three more top prizes remaining in the game.
Million Dollar Win It All Delivers $1M Win
In the meantime, a lucky ticket-holder in York County just purchased a $1 million-winning Million Dollar Win It All scratch-off ticket. This is another $50 game that features top prizes of $1 million.
While the winner is still unknown, the Pennsylvania Lottery said that the shop where the winning ticket was sold was Sheetz on 3998 East Market St., Springettsbury Township. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Just like the other winner, this one was also encouraged to sign their ticket and contact the lottery.
At launch, the $50 Million Dollar Win It All game featured 20 top prizes of $1 million. Currently, 17 of these are still up for grabs.
A few days ago, another Million Dollar Win It All player won another one of the top prizes. The winning ticket in question was sold in Allegheny County.
In other news, a lucky player in Pennsylvania just won $3 million from the Mega Ball game.
