Mega Millions Jackpot Tops $700M as Friday Drawing Crowns No Winner

The Mega Millions jackpot is now growing at insane speeds, with more and more players joining the race for a life-changing payout. The game’s top prize is currently standing at over $700 million and growing steadily with every drawing.

Mega Millions Jackpot Surpasses $700M

The Mega Millions jackpot has reached new heights after no one succeeded in winning the game’s top prize last Friday. For reference, the Friday drawing saw players compete for a jackpot of $672 million with a cash option of $293.3 million. However, this prize remains only a dream as no one succeeded in matching the six winning numbers required to claim the aforementioned sum.

Speaking of the six winning numbers, the five white numbers drawn last Friday were 22, 34, 45, 48, and 55. The gold Mega Ball was 14.

Matching all five winning numbers proved impossible for all players who participated in that drawing since it awarded no Match 5 prizes of $2-10 million. However, there were a lucky few players who managed to match four white numbers plus the gold Mega Ball to win prizes within the game’s third-tier.

Six of those players will take home $20,000 each (2x multiplier), two will take home $30,000 each (3x multiplier), and a single lucky player will take home $50,000 (5x multiplier).

In the meantime, the Mega Millions jackpot has reached $707 million for the next drawing, which is set to take place this Tuesday, July 21, at 11 pm ET.

A Third Jackpot Win for 2026 Has Yet to Happen

Unlike the Friday, July 17, drawing, which awarded no seven-figure prizes, the previous one ended up awarding three. The prizes went to players in Florida, New Jersey, and Georgia, who took home $2 million, $3 million, and $4 million, respectively.

Speaking of winners, the Mega Millions drawing that took place on Friday, July 10, awarded a $2 million Match 5 prize to a separate player in Florida.

While the Powerball game has so far awarded five jackpots in 2026, Mega Millions has only awarded two. As a result, fans are excitedly looking forward to the next win.
