Fortune Favors the Divorced
Kitsune Studios’ latest release is a 5×5 slot with 19 paylines. Inspired by British history, the game features Henry 8th alongside five of his wives. Additional symbols include old-timey hats, books, Henry’s iconic horned helmet and, of course, a chopping block with an axe next to it.
While the real king can be a divisive figure, whose past is shrouded in controversy and darker events, Kitsune Studios’ take on the monarch is much lighter. Henry himself appears next to the grid, making regular comments as players fire the slot’s reels. Saying things like “Fortune favors the divorced” and “I feel inspired to remarry,” the king dismisses any notion of darker undertones. Behind him, a glorious feast can be seen, while catchy period music plays in the background.
Henry 8th himself serves as the game’s Walking Wild symbol, carrying a multiplier of up to 100x. Once he appears, his kingly stature fills the entire reel, ensuring that players have an easier time scoring those sweet paylines. From then on, Henry triggers regular respins, moving one reel to the left with each one. Once he exits the grid, the respins end and all winnings are awarded.
As the Walking Wild moves across the grid, Henry’s costume changes. While this has no particular effect on the gameplay, Kitsune Studios’ latest slot allows players to see the king in his armor, pajamas, kingly clothing, swimsuit, and even in a jester costume.
Another Victory for the Crown
Collecting three or more FS Scatter symbols triggers free spins, with the number of spins being determined by the number of Scatters that triggered the feature.
The game features two bonus rounds – Run Before You Can Walk and Run This Way. The first one keeps the base mechanics active while increasing the chances of triggering Walking Wilds. However, the global multiplier does not apply to wins. The feature can be upgraded to the Run This Way bonus, awarding more free spins and activating any Global Multiplier accumulated during the feature.
The Run This Way Bonus keeps the Run Before You Can Walk features, while keeping the global multiplier permanently active. When a Walking Wild symbol exits the reels, its multiplier value is added to the global multiplier.
