Greentube Breaks Ground in Alberta as iGaming Interest Intensifies

Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has launched in Alberta, the second Canadian province to regulate its iGaming market.

This marks an important expansion milestone for the supplier, which is looking to strengthen its pole position in the North American region by securing the important rollout in what is tipped to be one of the most commercially successful markets locally.

Greentube commercial director David Bolas has welcomed the opportunity to see his company enter the space that early on, as Alberta is only shifting into iGaming gear.

“We welcome the opportunity a new jurisdiction offers and look forward to working with locally licensed operators to introduce our established offering to players in Alberta.”

Bolas spoke highly of Greentube’s product lineup and available options, which are now available to local players through partnerships with licensed and regulated operators.

The company has received the go-ahead from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).

Among the games brought to the local market are such excellent options, part of the company’s initial rollout, as Piggy Prizes Wand of Riches 2, Rumble Riches, Firecracker Money Toad, Silver Lux Big Win Spinner, and many others.

“Going live in Alberta on the day the market opens is an important step for Greentube and reflects the strong momentum we are seeing in Canada,” Bolas added.

Alberta is expected to drive strong commercial results for operators as the province has become the second, after Ontario in Canada, to break away from the monopoly model and allow private companies to compete through a licensing system.
