Grosvenor Poker To Stream Nine Days of Goliath Action

The 2026 Grosvenor Poker Goliath, with its estimated £2 million prize pool, is almost here. Cards are in the air in the first of nine scheduled flights at 11:00 a.m. BST on July 25, and you’ll be able to watch the excellent Grosvenor Poker live stream for nine days throughout the bustling festival.

Hosted by Phil “The Tower” Heald and Jay Harwood, the entertaining duo who bring you all the action from the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT), will be on hand providing their usual top-tier commentary and barrel of laughs on nine separate days throughout the Goliath festival, including the crowning of the Goliath champion.

The live stream broadcasts simultaneously across Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.

2026 Goliath Live Stream Schedule

Everyone connected with the 2026 Goliath expects the £200 buy-in event to be nothing short of gargantuan. The Goliath attendance has grown every year since the inaugural event in 2011.

The only exception to Goliath’s meteoric rise was during the COVID-19 years, when the tournament went online. Even then, the Goliath went from 2,013 online entrants to 2,722 the following year.

At the time of writing, more than 1,300 players have pre-registered for the 2026 Goliath. To put that into context, the first-ever Goliath was considered massive when 1,765 players bought in. Lee Rawson triumphed in the 2011 Goliath and banked £32,705 for his victory.

The current attendance record stands at 12,961, a remarkable figure set in last year’s event. Paul Worsley came out on top on that occasion, turning his £200 investment into £316,640 and the title of 2025 Goliath champion.

Will The GGPoker and Grosvenor Casinos Partnership Boost the Goliath’s Numbers?

Grosvenor and GGPoker entered a partnership in May that opened the door for GGPoker players to play satellites and online Day 1s of major Grosvenor live events, including the upcoming Goliath. Players can also use their GGPoker accounts to buy into Grosvenor’s live tournaments.

As part of the partnership, GGPoker is offering cash boosts of up to 20% to those who either qualify for a Grosvenor event or buy into it using their GGPoker balance. For example, if someone wins their way into the £200 Goliath online at GGPoker, or buys in using their GGPoker account, then goes on to cash in the Goliath, GGPoker will give that player an extra 20% of their winnings.

This means if reigning champion Paul Worsley had been able to take advantage of this offer, he would have received an extra £63,328 on his £316,640 first-place prize!

Although players can still qualify for the Goliath and other Grosvenor live events online at Grosvenor Poker, having an online partner the size and stature of GGPoker can only have a positive effect on the overall attendance of those events.

One only needs to look at the Irish Open’s attendance numbers since PokerStars began offering satellites to the long-running tournament. PokerStars and the Irish Open joined forces in 2022. The partnership resulted in the attendance increasing from 1,880 in 2021 to 2,040 in 2022. However, the 2025 Irish Open saw a staggering 5,003 entrants, with hundreds upon hundreds winning seats via PokerStars satellites.

If the GGPoker deal has a similar effect, the Goliath’s estimated £2 million prize pool could become a reality, which would be quite incredible for a £200 buy-in (£160+£40) live event.
