Sit & Go Tournaments Return to 888poker for One Weekend Only

Those of you who used to love grinding traditional sit & go tournaments online need to head to 888poker this weekend because they are returning. For one weekend only, 888poker players can jump into six-handed and heads-up single table tournaments, and do so with a 50% discount on the tournament’s fees.

There was a time when traditional sit & go tournaments were one of the most popular formats you could play in the online poker world. However, they began falling out of favor when the jackpot sit-and-go craze took over, and most online poker operators either drastically reduced their SNG offerings or scrapped them altogether.

Head to the 888poker lobby between July 24-26, look down the left-hand side, and you’ll find Sit & Go at the bottom under Mystery Bounty. Click Sit & Go and a SNG lobby will greet you: Sit & Go Weekend has arrived!

Throughout the weekend, 888poker players can enjoy a sense of nostalgia across six-handed and heads-up No-Limit Hold’em Sit & Go tournaments. They come in buy-ins of $1.05, $2.10, $5.25, and $10.50, placing them at the more affordable end of the scale.

The heads-up SNGs are, obviously, a winner-takes-all, while the six-handed tournaments pay the top two finishers; the winner banks 65% of the prize pool while the runner-up takes home the remaining 35%.

Even though the buy-ins for the returning Sit & Go games are low, 888poker wants as many of its players as possible to enjoy them. This is why throughout the Sit & Go Weekend, you’ll find daily freerolls awarding a bunch of Sit & Go tickets.
