Global Game Connect will return to Sri Lanka on March 24 and 25, 2027, with organizers expecting more than 5,000 professional attendees from over 30 countries and regions.
The international business-to-business gaming industry event will be held at The Forum and Lumina Ballroom at Cinnamon Life, City of Dreams Sri Lanka. HUIDU is organizing the event with support from the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.
Organizers expect GGC 2027 to feature more than 130 exhibitors and sponsors, while about 35% of participants are projected to be decision-makers from across the industry. The planned expansion follows the 2026 edition, which attracted more than 2,700 industry professionals and companies from several countries and regions.
The 2027 event will cover the gaming, iGaming, digital entertainment, technology, payments, marketing, and related business sectors. Participants are expected to include gaming operators, platform providers, game studios, API solution providers, payment companies, technology service providers, affiliate networks, marketing partners, cloud service providers, compliance specialists, and other industry stakeholders.
The program will include an exhibition, industry forums, networking sessions, and business-matching activities. A welcome dinner, industry social events, and an awards ceremony are also planned as part of the two-day schedule.
The event is intended to connect international companies with emerging digital entertainment and gaming markets in South Asia. It will also focus on commercial partnerships, cross-border cooperation, market entry opportunities, and developments affecting the international gaming industry.
GGC positions Sri Lanka as a meeting point for companies operating across South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and other international markets. The 2027 edition is expected to increase the event’s scale, international participation, industry partnerships, and business networking activity compared with its first edition.
