The new jackpot was won with a $2 ticket bought at a local store and was pronounced a win after the player matched all six numbers in the Monday, August 3, 2026 Lotto Million 1 drawing, resulting in the seven-figure payout.
The player won by matching the numbers 7, 13, 19, 22, 27, and 47. No further information was immediately provided about the win per se, other than details about the venue that sold the ticket.
The ticket was purchased at Tony’s Fresh Market at 2300 S. Route 59 in Plainfield, with the store also set to get the customary bonus amounting to $102,500 for selling the winning ticket.
Illinois has been dropping a lot of jackpots recently, with multiple big-time and life-altering amounts secured over the past weeks. Among those is a $700,000 payout with a ticket sold at Franklin Food & Liquors, located at 9735 W. Franklin Ave. in Franklin Park, and the winner securing the payout with the numbers 9, 13, 15, 16, 37.
