Morrissey, the man behind The Smiths and one of the most iconic singers of all times, has earned himself more bad fame after he cancelled his four-show Sin City residency just days before the main event.
Sorry, But Morrissey Won’t Be Performing
Originally planned for the Encore Theater on August 14-15 and August 18-19, the British pop singer announced that he is pulling out, citing “unforseen logistical challenges.”
The news did not land well with fans, with Morrissey having been associated with previous cancellations as well. The singer has cancelled several shows already this year, adding to fans’ frustration with the maverick artist, whose charm lies in his somewhat quirky and evidently – unpunctual persona.
Some online commentators have even called it “negligent” to have venues schedule and book Morrissey. Yet, Morrissey would have had a very good reason to stick around and play the shows, as it would have been a great way to promote his Make-Up Is a Lie solo album, his 14th so far in his career,

A planned event in Valencia, Spain, had to be cancelled because of revelers in the street keeping the British indie artist awake at night and him ending up suffering from sleep deprivation.
