Illinois is once again happy to be the place of another great lottery jackpot – $1,000,000 won on Saturday, August 8, from the Lotto Million 2 drawing.
The good news was shared by the Illinois Lottery in a press release detailing the fortunate event. First, there were details about the winning ticket, which was purchased at Gas N Wash at 1951 E Laraway Rd.
This is another huge jackpot paid out in the state, with the winning numbers 11, 17, 22, 26, 36, and 45 securing the grand prize.
The previous Lotto Million 2 jackpot was hit on August 3, awarding another $1 million in prize money, with a third prize this month awarded on August 1 – and the largest – $10.25 million.
The most recent prize will also fetch a $10,000 bonus payable to Gas N Wash for selling the winning ticket for the Saturday draw. However, no winner has, as of the time of writing this, stepped forward to claim the pot.
They have 365 days to do so from the date of the drawing, with the Illinois Lottery urging casual and habitual lottery players to check their tickets.
