The Casino Barcelona continued to be a happy hunting ground for Austria’s Klemens Roiter after he claimed the title in the €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Unlimited Re-Entry event at the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona. Roiter’s latest victory earned him €266,030 after a heads-up deal.
Some players seem to achieve remarkable results at particular festivals or casinos. It seems to be the EPT Barcelona festival. Roiter excelled at the 2025 EPT Barcelona, racking up five cashes, including one victory, worth a combined €793,585.
- €10,200 NLHE Mystery Bounty – 5th for €27,800
- €20,000 NLHE – 8th for €48,400
- €30,000 NLHE Super High Roller Warm-Up – 1st for €507,785
- €10,200 PLO – 4th for €120,100
- €10,200 NLHE – 2nd for €89,500
Fast forward to August 2026, and Roiter helped himself to another EPT Barcelona title. The Austrian was one of 39 entries in the €25,000 NLH Unlimited Re-Entry tournament, which saw €936,390 waiting to be won.
Only the top six finishers received a slice of that pie, with Kayhan Mokri collecting the first slice, namely €65,500, when he fell in sixth.
Nicholas Seward (€84,300), Jamie Dwan (€107,700), and Moroccan ace Mehdi Chaoui (€145,100) busted, leaving Roiter heads-up against Ottomar Ladva. A near €113,000 difference between first and second-place prize money proved a little too steep for the situation, so the heads-up duo struck a deal.
That deal meant Ladva collected €267,760 instead of the advertised €210,700 when he fell at the final hurdle, while Roiter netted €266,030 instead of €323,090, but also the all-important trophy and title of champion.

Vinny Lingham Banks Ninth Six-Figure Score and First Win

Successful entrepreneur and technology investor Vinny Lingham has quite the remarkable Hendon Mob profile. Prior to EPT Barcelona, Lingham had 10 cashes dating back from only July 2024, with eight of those being worth six-figures.
Lingham added another €306,600 to his impressive resume after taking down the €30,000 Super High Roller Warm Up event at Casino Barcelona.
Including five re-entries, 21 players battled it out for a share of the €613,305 prize pool. The compact field meant only the last three players saw any return on their investment.
Enrico Camosci was the first in-the-money finisher. His third-place finish came with €122,705.
Lingham then defeated Finnish superstar Eelis Parssinen heads-up, with Parssinen taking home €184,000 and Lingham €306,600, and Lingham his first major live poker tournament victory.
