Renova Technology has joined the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), giving the repair and supply chain services company a more direct line to manufacturers, regulators and government officials across the gaming and lottery sectors.
AGEM represents suppliers on business, legislative, regulatory and expansion matters affecting the gaming industry worldwide. Membership places Renova alongside an established base of vendors and suppliers working across the sector.
“We are here to learn and take back industry insights to drive efficiencies and innovate within the industry. AGEM is an organization that has decades of experience with a focus on the horizon, and its members are largely vendors and suppliers in the gaming industry,” said Louis Pine, Chief Marketing Officer of Renova Technology.
Pine added that direct engagement with AGEM’s membership base will inform how the company approaches core industry principles going forward.
“It’s important for us to be out in the field listening to success stories and challenges and ultimately learning how we can grow as an organization and understand AGEM’s tenets, from Responsible Gaming to Advocacy,” said Pine.
Renova supports the hardware behind gaming and lottery cabinets, including bill validators, thermal ticket printers, button decks, displays, computers and lottery terminals.
Rather than replace full assemblies, the company’s technicians repair circuit boards at the individual component level, an approach that has become more relevant as supply chains face delays and replacement parts grow harder to source. Component-level repair allows equipment to stay in service without a full assembly swap.
All of Renova’s repair work takes place at ESD-certified facilities in the United States. The company says this domestic setup supports manufacturer-grade quality standards and allows for faster turnaround times on completed repairs.
