$20M Antonius vs. Monarch Heads-Up Match Announced by Triton

Triton Poker has announced that Friday night will see the biggest televised heads-up match in poker history, with Poker Hall of Famer Patrik Antonius set to face cash game player and businessman Ossi “Monarch” Ketola.

The pair will go head-to-head for $20,000,000 on the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II stage, with the match taking place Friday evening local time in South Korea.

Ketola’s involvement in nosebleed cash games has quickly become a regular talking point in the poker world, with the Finnish player making headlines at this very festival last year when he won a record $10.99 million pot against Alex Foxen.

His matches throughout 2025 were one of the biggest poker stories of the year, with him also facing off against Kayhan Mokri and Dan “Jungleman” Cates, as well as at Triton Jeju.

And, just a few nights ago, Ketola was back in action, taking on Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski in a series of games featuring several million-dollar-plus pots, in which Ketola emerged a $6,000,000 victor over Malinowski.

The action will be livestreamed on Triton Poker’s streaming platforms, including YouTube and the Triton Poker Plus app.

Will Antonius Break More Cash Game Records?

Antonius is no stranger to the cash game streets, having established himself as one of the most feared and respected cash game players of all time. In 2023, he made headlines by winning what was then the largest cash game pot ever streamed in the US, taking down a $1,978,000 pot on No Gamble, No Future: “Cash of the Titans”.

That same year, Antonius told the PokerNews Podcast, “I’ve always felt very comfortable [on camera] and enjoyed playing streams and televised poker, especially cash games. Those are really fun things to play; what can I say?”

While the size of tonight’s stream has already broken records, we’ll have to wait and see what record pots the Finnish pair can conjure up. Either way, the match should provide good practice for both Antonius and Ketola, who will team up for the start of Saturday’s $200,000 Triton Invitational in Jeju – the first Triton Invitational held on the continent of Asia, with 50 pairs already confirmed.
