The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is heading to Ohio for RGPS Golden Expedition Ohio, a stop that will take place in the Lake Erie Poker Room from Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
The RunGood stop in Elyria will feature nine ring events over six days and will culminate with the $600 Main Event, which comes with a $200,000 guarantee attached. PokerNews will be on-site to live report the Main Event action.
Win a Ring in Ohio
The RGPS Golden Expedition Ohio stop will kick off on Sept. 28 with $300 Seniors NLH Ring Event and $300 Omaha 8 Ring Event, as well as Day 1a of an on-demand $100 Flip and Go Ring Event.
Sept. 30 will see the start of $400 PokerNews PowerStack Ring Event, a $30,000 guaranteed event that offers two starting flights and will play to a winner on Oct. 1.
The series will culminate with the $600 Main Event, which kicks off on Oct. 1 with the first of five starting flights. The $200,000 guaranteed event will play to a winner on Oct. 4.
Other highlights of the series include a $300 Tag Team Ring Event, $300 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event and a $200 Ladies Ring Event that will close out the series on Oct. 4.
Last Time in Ohio
The last time the RunGood team was in Ohio was in 2024 for the RGPS RunGood Resort Cleveland stop, which featured a $1,000 Main Event that drew 223 runners for a prize pool of $474,962.
That event saw Dane Miller defeating heads-up opponent Thomas Gray to win a career-best $98,607 in what he described as “a bit of a sun-run.”
The final table also included Andrew Manchen (3rd – $44,080), Kyle Grupp (4th – $32,825) and bracelet winner Katie Kopp (5th – $24,850).

After wrapping up in the Lake Erie Poker Room, the RunGood team will head to Hollywood St. Louis in Missouri for a stop taking place Oct. 6-11 that will feature a $200,000 guaranteed Main Event.
