NBA House Macao will return to The Venetian Macao in October with an expanded five-day program built around the NBA China Games 2026.
The free interactive event will run from October 7 to 11 at the Cotai Expo, coinciding with two preseason games between the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets at The Venetian Arena. The teams will meet on October 9 and again on October 11 as part of the NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP.
NBA House will occupy Halls A and B and combine basketball activities with entertainment, merchandise, food and league-partner experiences. General admission will not require registration, although visitors will need to register separately for certain performances.
NBA Legends Join Expanded Macao Event
A group of former NBA stars will headline this year’s edition alongside Chinese basketball player Ding Yanyuhang. The NBA alumni scheduled to appear include Ray Allen, Carlos Boozer, Chris Bosh and Jeremy Lin. Stephon Marbury, Shawn Marion, Cuttino Mobley and Mitch Richmond will also attend, alongside Luis Scola and P.J. Tucker, Macau Post Daily reported.
The appearances form part of a wider fan program surrounding the two Mavericks-Rockets preseason games. Visitors will also have opportunities to take photographs with official NBA trophies and attend viewing parties for the games.
Basketball activities will include an interactive shooting experience on a smart digital LED court. Official league partners will operate additional activations throughout NBA House, with participating companies including Alibaba Cloud, Alipay+, Amap, Amazon Web Services and Ant Bank (Macao).
The venue will also include an official merchandise village offering NBA products, collectibles and lifestyle apparel. A customization lab will provide another element of the merchandise area.
Food and beverage space will cover more than 1,500 square metres. The area will combine local food choices with Texas-inspired cuisine, connecting the event with the home state of both participating NBA teams.
Music and Fan Day Add to Basketball Program
Entertainment will form another major part of NBA House Macao. South Korean girl group KiiiKiii and Filipino boy band SB19 are among the acts scheduled to appear during the five-day event. EVAN, also known as HEESEUNG, and Hong Kong singer-actor and MIRROR member Keung To are also connected with the entertainment program.
A separate NBA Fan Day will take place at The Venetian Arena on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Keung To and EVAN will perform during Fan Day, while rapper and actor MC Jin will host the event. Mavericks and Rockets players will participate in the program alongside team entertainment and mascots.
Fan Day activities will include a skills challenge and three-point contest. Organizers have also scheduled a shooting stars challenge and a slam dunk show featuring professional dunkers.
The Mavericks roster currently includes nine-time NBA All-Star and 2016 NBA champion Kyrie Irving, 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg and 2026 No. 9 overall draft pick Morez Johnson Jr.
Houston’s lineup includes two-time NBA champion and 16-time All-Star Kevin Durant. Two-time NBA All-Star Alperen Sengun and 2024-25 NBA All-Defensive First Team member Amen Thompson are also part of the Rockets roster.
Unlike general entry to NBA House, NBA Fan Day is a ticketed event. Listed ticket prices range from MOP/HKD 488 for C Reserve seating to MOP/HKD 4,988 for VVIP Floor tickets.
NBA China Games Anchor Five-Day Schedule
The two preseason games provide the central sporting component of the October program at The Venetian Macao. Dallas and Houston will meet on Friday, October 9, before returning for their second matchup on Sunday, October 11.
NBA House will operate across the period surrounding both games, giving visitors access to fan activities before and between the two fixtures.
The expanded format follows the NBA’s broader return to Macao and gives league partners a dedicated space to engage with visitors away from The Venetian Arena. The combination of former players, current NBA teams and entertainment programming will extend the China Games schedule across five days at the resort.
The NBA House program will conclude on October 11 alongside the second preseason meeting between the Mavericks and Rockets.
