BetMGM has secured exclusive online casino rights to the reality competition series “The Traitors” through an agreement with All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment.
The deal covers the show’s intellectual property for slots, table games, and non-traditional casino games.
The first game, The Traitors Faithful Riches, is available at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Borgata Online also offers the title in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Games Global developed The Traitors Faithful Riches, which uses a 5×4 reel layout with 1,024 ways to win.
The game draws on the series’ themes of secret alliances, hidden rewards and jackpots. Its features include The Traitors Bonus, bonus spins and The Traitor Feature, which BetMGM describes as unpredictable.
“The Traitors has captivated millions with its blend of suspense and strategy. Those qualities create a compelling foundation for an online slot, allowing fans to engage with the franchise in a new way while capturing the intrigue and drama that made the show a cultural phenomenon,” said Oliver Bartlett, SVP of Gaming at BetMGM.
“Television and movie IP is a key pillar of our content strategy, and our partnership with All3Media International gives us an opportunity to build a lasting iGaming franchise,” he added.
The debut of The Traitors Faithful Riches coincided with the Sept. 17 television season premiere of “The Traitors: New Blood” and serves as the foundation of BetMGM’s broader vision for the franchise. The game is the first of several planned titles that will extend the “The Traitors” brand across multiple gameplay experiences.
The franchise follows BetMGM’s practice of offering exclusive, entertainment-driven content built on recognizable brands. According to the operator, its growing portfolio of television and movie IP gives players a casino experience that is not available elsewhere.
