Brazilian sensation Renan “Internett93o” Bruschi first became a PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) in 2022 when he triumphed in the $5,200 NLHE Titans PKO event for $173,293. Only four years later, Bruschi has 13 WCOOP titles under his belt after winning four titles during the 2026 WCOOP.
Earlier in the 2026 WCOOP, Bruschi won the $530 NLHE Mystery Bounty Wednesday Surprise and the $1,050 NL 2-7 Single Draw events. Over the past couple of days, the talented Brazilian came out on top in the $1,050 NLHE Turbo for $21,189 and a couple of days later binked the $530 NLHE PKO Bounty Builder High Roller for an additional $23,772.
The first of those two latest victories was most impressive due to the caliber of opponents Bruschi faced at the final table. Such luminaries as Gabriel “gtavares10” Tavares, “IgammilI€120,” Ognyan “cocojamb0” Dimov, Audrius “Stakelis24” Stakelis, Jonathan “Proudflop” Proudfoot, and eventual runner-up Alisson “heyalisson” Piekazewicz were all present and correct, and any of them would have made a worthy champion.
This latest brace of WCOOP victories has pushed Bruschi into joint sixth on the all-time titles-won table. He is tied on 13 wins with Tobias “Senkel92” Leknes, and only one win away from tying with Joao “Naza114” Vieira, Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, and Denis “aDrENalin710” Strebkov.
Big Guns Add to the WCOOP Hauls
Like Bruschi, several established grinders added more WCOOP titles to their resume in the past few days.
“IgammilI€120” took down two events, including the star-studded $5,200 NLHE Titans. The Belarus-based high-stakes specialist defeated Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden heads-up to claim his sixth WCOOP title and $98,517. They were then the last player standing in the $5,200 NLHE PKO Bounty Builder SHR for an additional $88,644, their seventh victory in a WCOOP event.
Sweden’s “flerrehuve” won their sixth WCOOP event by leaving 85 opponents in their dust in the $1,050 NLHE 7-Max PKO event, a victory worth $27,796.
There was a fourth title for Austria’s Dinesh “NastyMinder” Alt. He won the $109 NLHE 7-Max PKO event for $11,230, ending a five-year WCOOP win drought. Estonia’s Markku “markovitsus” Koplimaa also won his fourth WCOOP trophy, doing so in the $530 edition of the NLHE Titans; he banked $81,726 for his efforts.
NLHE Main Events Begins on September 27
The trio of 2026 WCOOP NLHE Main Events burst into life at 5:30 p.m. BST on September 27. These prestigious tournaments come with buy-ins of $109, $1,050, and $10,300, while boasting $1,250,000, $2,000,000, and $2,500,000 guarantees, respectively.
The structures of the three Main Events are so incredible that the tournaments are scheduled to span across four days.
Last year, Rayan “beriuzy” Chamas won the $109 WCOOP Main Event for $212,826, “MiMikyolo” triumphed in the $1,050 buy-in Main Event for $487,131, while Simon “TaxationIsTheft” Gilles became the $10,300 Main Event champion and padded his bankroll with $736,327.
