The 888 XL Autumn Series has almost concluded, but there is the not-so-small matter of crowning the Mystery Mini Main and Mystery Main Event champion. Both of these prestigious tournaments have only a handful of Day 1s remaining; all are set to play out today, September 28.
The $250 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed Mystery Main Event only has three flights remaining. They shuffle up and deal at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. BST. Day 2 kicks off at 9:30 p.m. BST and continues until the eight-handed final table is reached.
At the time of writing, 1,072 players had bought in, with 129 advancing to Day 2. 888 needs almost 1,300 entrants for the guarantee to be met, but the average attendance of each of the 23 completed flights stands at 46, meaning an overlay is likely.
Satellites from only $0.10 are running throughout September 28.
The Mystery Mini Main costs $25 to enter and guarantees that $50,000 will be won. It requires almost 2,200 players to avoid an overlay. Currently, 1,716 players have bought in, with 204 advancing to Day 2. The last trio of Day 1s starts at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. BST on September 28, with Day 2 starting at 9:30 p.m. BST.
Like its $250 buy-in Big Brother, the Mystery Mini Main looks set to overlay, as each completed flight has averaged 71 runners. Perhaps now is the perfect time to take a shot at 888 XL Autumn Series Main Event glory?

2026 XL Autumn Series Results
Thirty-three of the 41 numbered XL Autumn Series are done and dusted, including the $1,050 Super High Roller. 888 isn’t famous for its high-stakes tournament offering, but this event still drew in 37 entrants. They battled for a slice of the $40,000 prize pool, with “OMGTHATEDGE” taking home $13,680, the largest haul of the series so far.
A special mention must go to “KITCHEN_TE9” who has won two XL Autumn Series events. They triumphed in the $320 Super KO High Roller for $2,889 earlier in the series, and yesterday won the $320 DeepStack High Roller for another $3,415.
