PokerNews Adds Second PGT Seat to RGPS Dream Factory

The RunGood Poker Series Dream Factory just got a little bigger, with PokerNews adding a second PGT Championship seat to the festivities at Thunder Valley Casino Resort later this year.

Two exclusive $300 tournaments will take place during the festival, the RunGood Winner’s Circle on December 1 and the RunGood Dream Seat Invitational on December 2. Both are reserved for players who have won an official RGPS Championship Ring during the 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 seasons.

The Dream Seat Invitational already had a PGT Championship seat waiting for its winner, and PokerNews has now sponsored another for the Winner’s Circle champion.

PokerNews will also be at Thunder Valley providing live updates from both events, following the RGPS champions as they play for a chance to take their game to the PokerGO Studio.

Two PGT Championship Seats Up for Grabs

There is plenty more than the regular prize pools at stake across the two invitationals.

Both tournaments will award three additional prizes, with the winner earning a PGT Championship seat, the runner-up receiving a $600 Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship seat and third place taking home a $400 PokerNews Cup seat.

3rd $400 PokerNews Cup Seat

The $300 RunGood Winner’s Circle gets things underway at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, bringing together ring winners from across the last four RGPS seasons.

Along with the tournament itself, every participant will have the chance to be selected for the RunGood “Compete for the Seat” Gameshow later that evening.

The gameshow takes place during the RunGood Player Party at Illusions Bar inside Thunder Valley, with another $6,000 in prizes up for grabs.

The $300 Dream Seat Invitational follows at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, and some of its field will have earned their way to Thunder Valley through the PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard.

The PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard returned for the 2026 Fall RGPS season, with players collecting points through eligible PowerStack events across the tour.

Once the season-long race is complete, the top 10 players on the leaderboard will each receive a package that includes entry into the Dream Seat Invitational, a $300 travel stipend and a two-night hotel stay at Thunder Valley.

The PowerStack made its debut earlier this year, with its inaugural leaderboard ultimately sending 11 players to Thunder Valley for the $1,200 Million Dollar Main Event at the RGPS Passport Season Finale.

This time, there’s an even bigger opportunity waiting at the end of the road. Make the PowerStack top 10, head to Thunder Valley and win the Dream Seat Invitational, and a run on the RGPS could end with a seat in the PGT Championship.

Dream Factory Returns to Thunder Valley

The RunGood Poker Series Dream Factory runs from November 27 through December 3 at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California.

For players who have collected an RGPS ring over the last four seasons, there will now be two chances to win their way into the PGT Championship across consecutive days.

PokerNews will provide live updates from both the Winner’s Circle and Dream Seat Invitational as the fields play down to their respective champions.
