iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has released Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, a Halloween-themed title in its Big Bass fishing franchise that brings back the fanged fisherman character and gives players a set of selectable modifiers before the bonus round.
The game adds a seasonal theme to the franchise through layered modifiers, escalating multipliers, and several bonus features.
In the base game, three, four or five scatter symbols award 10, 15 or 20 free spins, respectively. When two scatters land, there is a random chance that additional scatters will appear and activate the feature.
Before the bonus game starts, players pick from six pumpkins, which can reveal up to five possible modifiers. These modifiers can add extra wilds, money symbols, or free spins, start the round from the second multiplier level, or raise the chance that random features activate.
During the feature, fisherman wild symbols collect the values of fish money symbols that land on the same spin, and these values go up to 1,000x. Every fourth fisherman retriggers the feature with 10 additional free spins. The win multiplier then rises to 2x on the first retrigger, 3x on the second, and 10x on the third, which is also the final retrigger.
If a fisherman wild lands without a fish, or if a fish appears without a fisherman, one of three special features can activate at random to place more fish or fishermen on the reels. Pumpkin symbols can also appear on the fifth reel throughout the feature, and they can activate additional modifiers for the rest of the bonus game.
“Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 puts a supercharged spooky spin on our much-loved fishing franchise, introducing a new selection of modifiers that give players greater influence over how the bonus game unfolds,” said Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play.
“From the pumpkin selection at the start of the feature to the additional upgrades that can appear during play, there is plenty of variety packed into this latest seasonal instalment,” she added.
