Former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella will participate in SiGMA World 2026 at Fiera Roma on November 3, with scheduled activities including a Ferrari racing car display, a book signing, padel and go-karting sessions, and meetings with delegates.
The summit, scheduled for November 2 to 5, is expected to attract more than 30,000 delegates, alongside 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors. The event will cover gaming, technology, financial markets and affiliate marketing, with five conference stages and networking opportunities involving operators, suppliers, affiliates and investors.
Fisichella, who competed in Formula 1 between 1996 and 2009, recorded three Grand Prix victories and four pole positions during his career. He won the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2003, the Australian Grand Prix in 2005, and the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2006.
His move to Ferrari came during the final five races of the 2009 Formula 1 season, following a second-place finish at the Belgian Grand Prix while driving for Force India. Before joining Ferrari, he had also raced for Jordan, Benetton and Renault.
Following his departure from Formula 1, Fisichella continued competing in endurance and GT racing. Driving for AF Corse, he secured GTE Pro class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 and 2014. His subsequent racing activities included Ferrari-backed GT campaigns in Asia and Europe.
At SiGMA World, Fisichella is scheduled to visit the Italy Pavilion in Hall 5 during the afternoon of November 3. A Ferrari 296 GT Championship car will be displayed near the pavilion, where delegates will have opportunities to meet the former driver and take photographs.
The program will also feature a signing of the FI Opus book by Eman and Giancarlo Fisichella. Other activities scheduled for the day include a padel session followed by a go-kart track experience, incorporating driving activities, merchandise signing and additional photo opportunities.
Fisichella’s participation comes as other sporting personalities feature in the exhibition. Footballer Marco Materazzi has also been announced as a Blokotech ambassador for SiGMA World in Rome, with his scheduled appearances including a meet-and-greet, autograph signing and participation in the Bloko Padel Tour.
