ProntoPaga brings Latin American payments experience to SBC Summit Lisbon

ProntoPaga has reported a successful participation in SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, where the company held three days of meetings and discussions with stakeholders from different markets.

According to the company, payments are moving closer to the core of business decision-making as the industry grows internationally, and the subject was one of the main themes of this year’s event.

The summit ran from September 29 to October 1 and drew more than 40,000 professionals from over 150 countries. That figure represents the largest turnout since SBC moved its flagship event to Lisbon.

A Latin American view on regulated-market payments

Elisa Jordán, Co-Founder and Chief of Customer Growth at ProntoPaga, joined the panel “Solving Payments at Scale in Regulated Markets,” which formed part of the Fintech Track at the Payment Expert Summit.

The session brought together perspectives from ProntoPaga, Flutter International, Aircash, PGWay and Neosurf. Panelists discussed how companies can maintain efficient payment operations while they grow into markets with different requirements.

During the discussion, Jordán contributed insights from ProntoPaga’s experience operating across Latin America. Panelists addressed payment performance, local payment methods, smart routing and faster payouts.

The session focused on how businesses can scale in regulated markets without compromising speed, compliance or a seamless user experience.

Conversations on the exhibition floor

ProntoPaga’s activity in Lisbon was not limited to the stage. Throughout the three-day event, the company’s team welcomed operators, partners and other industry stakeholders from different markets at booth E223.

These direct meetings on the exhibition floor complemented the company’s participation in the event’s content agenda. ProntoPaga described its attendance as another international milestone that gives it more opportunities to connect across the payments industry.
