Stake has released a mockumentary featuring its Global Ambassador Merab Dvalishvili ahead of his bantamweight title fight against Petr Yan at UFC 333 on October 24, as the Georgian fighter seeks to regain the UFC World Championship.
Titled The Merab Method, the video examines Dvalishvili’s preparations for the bout, combining footage of his training routine with humor and insights into his approach to competition. The feature also outlines six tips from the fighter on becoming a UFC World Champion.
The upcoming contest will mark the third meeting between Dvalishvili and Yan, with both fighters having secured one victory in their previous encounters. Addressing the fight, Dvalishvili said: “I want to break Petr Yan’s face.”
Dvalishvili, nicknamed “The Machine” for his pace and stamina, also discussed his plans beyond the October 24 bout, identifying Song Yadong as a potential next opponent.
“God willing, when I win against Petr, I will fight Song Yadong next,” he said.
