What better way to welcome in the new year than by becoming a poker champion and padding your bankroll with a six-figure score? You can do precisely this because PokerStars is taking its popular PokerStars Open to Campione in January 2027.
PokerStars Open Campione runs from January 8-17, 2027, at the iconic Casino di Campione. These dates mark the third time that tournament specialists from far and wide have traveled to the shores of Lake Lugano; each of the previous two stops has produced huge fields.

PokerStars LIVE Surpasses Guarantee in Campione

The PokerStars Sunday Million Live returned earlier this month for the first time since 2017. It proved a roaring success, with 5,213 entries across online and live at the Casino di Campione starting flights. Those entrants created a €1,119,853 prize pool, almost 12% more than the advertised €1 million guarantee.
Italian Ettore Santoprete, who had live tournament earnings of $10,063 before this tournament, took down the Sunday Million Live for an impressive €98,200 after a three-handed deal.
