Aristocrat Gaming’s new Buffalo Super Eclipse slot is expanding its presence on casino floors across North America. Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant celebrated the first arrival of the title in Oklahoma with a special event, as part of the newly renovated Buffalo Crossing Zone.
Buffalo Super Eclipse is the latest title in Aristocrat Gaming’s popular Buffalo franchise. The game “brings fresh fun and a lunar theme to the legendary Buffalo™ franchise while expanding upon the first title, Buffalo Eclipse™,” according to the company.
The game joined other Buffalo titles in the property’s renovated Buffalo Crossing Zone, which now has upgraded dynamic LED screens throughout.
Guests at the unveiling attended a ribbon-cutting with leadership from Choctaw Durant and Aristocrat Gaming. A free pull event and a Buffalo-themed customizable hat station followed the ceremony.
“Aristocrat’s Buffalo franchise is a guest favorite, and we are thrilled that Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant will be the first casino in Oklahoma to debut the newest edition to this long-standing franchise,” said Thomas O’Sullivan, Regional Director of Marketing at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant. “We look forward to having guests experience the excitement of Buffalo Super Eclipse.”
Lunar graphics and a feature meter
Buffalo Super Eclipse carries a lunar theme. In the game, the background changes while players fill the feature meter to trigger the Super Eclipse Bonus.
The title also includes the Super Cash Feature, which can be triggered in the base game or in feature play and offers a Buffalo Cash on Reels experience.
Players also have a chance at the Grand jackpot because the game is on the $50,000 multi-site progressive.
Three features on The Baron Portrait cabinet
The game runs on The Baron Portrait cabinet. Under the Super Eclipse Feature, a Cash on Reels bronze prize in the bottom reel matrix unlocks the silver position directly above it.
Players can then land silver prizes and unlock gold positions in the final matrix. According to Aristocrat Gaming, this unlocking structure creates more chances to land Cash on Reels prizes and progressive jackpots.
In the Super Cash Feature, players land a Super Cash Gold Buffalo on the first reel and connect Buffalo symbols from left to right to reveal Cash on Reels prizes. The Free Games Feature offers classic Buffalo free games with retrigger coins, and it also gives players chances to trigger the Super Eclipse or Super Cash features.
Rollout continues across North America
Aside from Oklahoma, Buffalo Super Eclipse is now on other casino floors across North America, as Aristocrat Gaming continues its distribution throughout the region. The title builds on the first title in the line, Buffalo Eclipse.
“Players worldwide love the Buffalo franchise, and Buffalo Super Eclipse raises the bar of entertainment again. Players will find the basics of what they love about Buffalo, along with new and innovative game mechanics and dynamic lunar theme graphics that add a new dimension to gameplay,” said Kurt Gissane, Chief Commercial Officer of Americas for Aristocrat Gaming.
