Fearshot Launches Cloudbet’s New Casino Game Category

cndCloudbet introduces Immersive World Betting, using an arcade-style ghost-hunting shooter to demonstrate the new casino game category. Its debut title, Fearshot: Phantom Mansion, places real-money wagering inside a haunted house, where firing at a supernatural target produces an immediate betting result.

Joy Studios developed the exclusive release for Cloudbet Originals. Players assume the role of a bounty hunter carrying the Phantom Blaster, choosing which ghosts to pursue as they explore the mansion. The betting happens when the weapon fires: each shot commits a separate stake.

The release adds another format to the operator’s casino catalogue. Readers seeking more background on the operator can consult this review on LCB.org. Casino News Daily has previously covered its expansion into live dealer gaming, including the introduction of Authentic Gaming roulette tables.

Ghost Hunting Starts at $0.01 per Shot

Fearshot’s minimum bet is $0.01, and its stated return to player is 97%. That RTP describes a theoretical return across a large volume of play, rather than the outcome of a single hunt.

The ghost selected for a shot determines the potential capture award and the probability of catching it. Capture payouts begin at 1.1x and extend to 350x, with smaller ghosts caught more often.

The Inquisitor carries the highest capture value. A successful catch pays 350x, but it is a very rare result. Players pursuing that target therefore accept a lower capture probability in exchange for the larger potential award.

This makes target selection a choice about risk. The payout attached to a ghost is only one part of the decision; its likelihood of being captured also matters.

Seven Rooms Include a Boss Fight That Can Pay Without Victory

The mansion’s seven hunting areas include the Grand Foyer and Toy Room, along with the Library. Players can also enter the Boiler Room, Kitchen and Dining Hall.

The remaining location, the Secret Altar, has a specific feature attached to it. Any shot fired there can bring Sister Penance into the game for a boss encounter offering up to 350x.

Defeating her is not a condition for receiving an award. The fight can pay even when the player fails to win the encounter, although the advertised 350x is its maximum payout.

Elsewhere in the mansion, the cast includes the Wailing Widow and the Drowned. Goodnight Dolly, Charlie Chatterbox and Chef DeVour also appear among its residents. These named targets provide the ghost-hunting setting for the individual wagers.

Soul Collector Awards Help Build a 1,699x Maximum

A successful ghost capture also sends a soul into the Soul Collector. As captures accumulate, the feature builds towards an overflow, at which point it awards an additional payout.

The collector can pay up to 999x, added to the return from the ghost caught on that shot. Its award can also coincide with a payment from the boss encounter.

Fearshot’s stated 1,699x single-shot maximum requires the largest available result from every component: a 350x ghost capture, the full 999x Soul Collector award and a 350x boss payment.

All three maximum awards must occur on the same shot to reach that total. The figure is therefore the game’s combined ceiling, rather than a standard payment for catching a ghost or completing a boss fight.
