Paysafe Completes Wallet Expansion in European Markets

PaysafeWallet-Expands-into-Croatia-Bulgaria-and-Estonia-Bringing-Flexible-Digital-Payments-to-More-European-ConsumersPaysafe has completed the geographic expansion of PaysafeWallet across the euro area, bringing its digital payment service to Croatia, Bulgaria and Estonia. The October 28, 2026 announcement extends the company’s presence to all euro-area markets, with Poland also included in its European network.

The latest additions give Paysafe access to three more consumer markets through its existing PaysafeCard app. The wallet combines traditional cash funding with digital account facilities, allowing customers to move between different payment methods within one service.

For Paysafe, the rollout builds on its established eCash business while extending its offering into account-based financial services. Its wallet supports everyday transactions and cross-border payments, with customers able to manage funds through an IBAN account and a personal Mastercard debit card.

Cash Remains Part of Paysafe’s Digital Strategy

One of the platform’s distinguishing functions is its ability to accept cash through PaysafeCard. Customers can use this option to add money to their wallets, while bank transfers provide an alternative funding method.

Once their accounts hold funds, users can pay online or in physical stores with the Mastercard debit card. The wallet also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, extending payment access to compatible mobile devices.

The service includes peer-to-peer transfers for sending money to friends and family. Customers can also receive payments directly into their accounts and use SEPA transfers to send and receive funds throughout the euro zone.

These functions are available across 23 European markets: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

Paysafe Extends Its Established Payment Infrastructure

Paysafe is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker PSFE and operates a global payments platform covering digital wallets, card transactions and eCash services.

PaysafeCard has provided the company with an established presence in cash-based digital payments. PaysafeWallet builds on that foundation by adding IBAN functionality and debit card services, broadening the ways customers can hold and spend money.

The second published account of the expansion reported an annualized payment volume of $167 billion for 2025. The figure illustrates the scale of Paysafe’s wider payment operations as the company extends its wallet intoadditional markets.

Management Highlights the European Expansion

Bob Legters, Chief Product Officer at Paysafe, said the latest launches reflect the company’s approach to meeting consumerpayment expectations across the region.

“Expanding PaysafeWallet into Croatia, Bulgaria and Estonia reflects our commitment to delivering innovative payment experiences to consumers across Europe,” said Legters. “These are dynamic digital markets where consumers expect seamless, secure, and flexible ways to manage their money online. PaysafeWallet has been designed to meet those expectations and support the evolving needs of the experience economy.”

With the three additions, PaysafeWallet has reached every euro-area market while retaining its availability in Poland. The company now offers consumers across this network access to cash top-ups, account-based payments and SEPA transfers through its digital wallet.
