Adult Film Star Celebrates Prematurely at Poker Table

Poker Player Celebration

It’s been said a million times — don’t celebrate until the final card has been dealt (unless your opponent is drawing dead).

Equally important, don’t celebrate when you’re the all-in player and the action hasn’t closed. That’s a lesson adult film star Nicolette Shea learned the hard way Friday night on Hustler Casino Live.

Shea, who has appeared on the show a number of times the past two months, lost a massive pot in the most brutal fashion.

Never Celebrate Early

Poker vlogger Mariano Grandoli began the action in the straddled high-stakes game with a raise to $2,000 with A♦Q♦. Shea, star of films such as Lil Humpers 6 and BrazziBots, picked up 10♥10♦ on the button and moved all in for $19,500.

“AI Guy,” the small blind, had her covered and made the call well ahead of both players with Q♥Q♣. Grandoli, who traditionally runs hot on Hustler Casino Live, had a tough decision but called to see a flop of 3♥10♣J♠, precisely what Shea hoped to see.

Despite two players, both with massive stacks, still battling for the side pot, the all-in player shouted “yes!” to celebrate flopping a set. She then proceeded to get out of her seat and walk around the table to tell a Hustler Casino staffer all about the monster flop she hit.

“You can’t do that, you can’t do that. There’s side action,” Hustler Casino Live commentator David Tuchman said.

AI Guy bet $30,000 with an over pair, which forced Grandoli to fold his gutshot straight draw. The action in the hand had officially closed and Shea returned to the table to turn over her cards and, once and for all, let everyone see the big hand.

Both players agreed to run the turn and river just one time for the $60,100 pot. The turn was a harmless 7♦, leaving AI Guy with just one last shot to hit his one-outer, and he did just that with the Q♠ landing on the river.

“Dare I say that was poker karma? Dare I say poker karma? I don’t know,” Tuchman pondered.

Shea, who was down nearly $30,000 for the session, quietly exited the game following the brutal river card. AI Guy ended up with a $40,000 profit, while Grandoli won approximately $60,000.

The most infamous premature celebration happened at the 2008 WSOP Main Event when Jean-Robert Bellande celebrated a double-up on the turn only for his opponent to spike a gutshot straight draw on the river.
