The recent enactment of Gaming Law 86-26 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Dominican gaming industry, characterized by a new regulatory framework that has generated significant expectations across the sector’s various segments. Against this backdrop, GAT Expo Santo Domingo 2026, taking place on Wednesday, November 18, at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino, will bring together leading industry associations, operators, manufacturers, and technology providers from the Dominican Republic and international markets.
The National Federation of Lottery Betting Shops (FENABANCA), headed by Juan Antonio Del Jesús; the Dominican Association of Sports Betting Shops (ADOBAD), represented by Leonardo Lantigua and Ariel Espinal; the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos (ADCJ), led by David Moniz; and the National Association of Sports Betting Shops (ANBD), headed by Ricardo Nadal will have a prominent presence at the event, which will combine an eight-hour trade exhibition with opportunities for analysis and dialogue on the industry’s future. The active participation of these operators’ associations will strengthen relationships among industry representatives, suppliers, and operators at a pivotal moment for the Dominican market.
National and International Sponsors Support the Event
RAZA.do, a sports betting operator, leads the group of sponsors as Diamond Sponsor and will host the welcome cocktail reception on Tuesday, November 17, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel. Juancito Sport also joins as Platinum Sponsor, reinforcing the participation of Dominican gaming companies in this international gathering.
GAT Santo Domingo is also supported by BetConstruct, an international provider of technology platforms for sports betting, casinos, and iGaming solutions; Gamanza, a Swiss company specializing in regulated-market platforms, gamification, and player loyalty; and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), a global leader in certification and compliance with technical standards. These three companies contribute to strengthening business relationships and promoting the exchange of specialized industry knowledge.
Industry Associations Address the New Regulatory Landscape
The GAT Talks agenda, scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will feature a panel bringing together representatives of the four associations, moderated by Attorney Yamile Gutiérrez, Founder and Director of G&G Studio Legal. The discussion will explore the perspectives of different industry segments on the new legislation, the challenges of its implementation, and the opportunities it presents to strengthen business activity, formalization, and the sustainable development of the Dominican gaming industry.
The program will also feature Andrés Blanco, General Manager of Gamanza Engage, a European brand currently operating in several Latin American countries. He will present the company’s marketing and player loyalty strategy, supported by technology and principles of behavioral psychology designed to enhance the user experience and strengthen player engagement with brands, while respecting ethical boundaries and responsible gaming principles.
Meanwhile, José Carlos Figueroa, Regional Manager for the Caribbean at Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), will share his international expertise in technical standards, certification, and regulatory compliance, areas of particular relevance amid the Dominican market’s ongoing regulatory transformation.
