Evolution launches live game show title Ice Fishing in the U.S.

Evolution has launched its live game show Ice Fishing in the United States, with the title going live in New Jersey, Michigan, and Delaware. In New Jersey, the launch also marks the opening of Evolution’s fourth Live Casino studio in Atlantic City.

The launch follows the game’s global debut in 2025, since which it has attracted more than 26 million players worldwide and recorded over 469 million fish caught.

In Michigan, Ice Fishing is being streamed from Evolution’s Grand Rapids studio, which opened earlier this year. The company also plans to introduce the game in additional regulated U.S. markets over the coming months, expanding its availability to more operators and players.

Ice Fishing features a virtual 53-segment money wheel and three bonus games, Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges, and Huge Reds. Players can select instant payout spots or pursue entry into one of the bonus rounds, while random multipliers of up to 10x can be applied to selected wheel segments.

The game combines live game show elements with a virtual frozen fishing environment, incorporating rapid rounds and interactive bonus features.

Commenting on the U.S. launch, Evolution North America CEO Jacob Claesson said: “Ice Fishing has become a viral hit with players around the world, and we’re excited to now bring that experience to the U.S.

“It’s fun, fast and unlike anything else in our Live Casino portfolio. This is just the beginning for Ice Fishing in the U.S., and we look forward to bringing the game to more players and more markets over the coming months.”

The three-state rollout represents the latest geographic expansion of the Evolution-developed title, with further U.S. launches planned as the company extends distribution across regulated jurisdictions.
