Wyoming licenses first batch of online sportsbetting operators

After passing legislation in April to legalize online sportsbetting and the western American state of Wyoming has now begun licensing operators with DraftKings Incorporated, Genius Sports Group Limited and the BetMGM service among the first to have been certified.

DraftKings Incorporated used an official Wednesday press release to detail that the license from the Wyoming Gaming Commission will allow it to bring its iOS and Android-friendly mobile sportsbetting app to adult punters in a 13th state following earlier launches in jurisdictions as varied as New Hampshire, Tennessee and Iowa.
