Casino Guru shortlisted for VIXIO Global Regulatory Awards 2024

Casino Guru has secured the shortlist for the Vixio Global Regulatory Awards 2024 in the Outstanding Contribution to Safer Gambling category, going up against 12 established companies from the sector. The VIXIO Global Regulatory Awards 2024 is due to take place on December 4, 2024.

Casino Guru noted that it is the only affiliate business to have made thisyear’s cut, “underscoring the company’s commitment to making gambling safer, more responsible, and advancing player knowledge and understanding.”

Casino Guru Head of Sustainable & Safer Gambling Šimon Vincze stated: “I am excited to see us nominated for the category again this year. We are doing our best to bring positive change and make gambling safer for players and other companies to operate.

“The competition for this award is strong, and I see some familiar companies there that are doing great work. It is an honor to be among them and compete for the number one.”

The shortlist is an acknowledgment of the arduous work that Casino Guru has put into making gambling safer for all, the company said. These efforts have been captured under the Gamtegrity platform, a multi-pronged initiative that seeks to educate players and strengthen industry best practices.

“The platform serves as a springboard for positive change in the industry, including interacting with casinos to change their T&C’s, launch Casino Guru Academy initiatives focused on educating industry professionals, and addressing complaints,” according to a company statement.

One of the company’s major efforts in this direction is the introduction of the Global Self-Exclusion Initiative, designed to reimagine how operators around the world think about player protection while conferring an “unprecedented level” of security onto the players themselves.

Casino Guru stated that it has been actively working with companies from the sector to explore touchpoints and exchange knowledge to educate and raise safer gambling standards.

Such partnerships have been struck with BetBlocker and Mindway AI, two companies from the sector, with whom Casino Guru has collaborated to further its efforts of protecting consumers.
