Gun Lake Casino (GLC) has been recognized as one of the US Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). According to the NABR, thousands of companies nationwide are reviewed by an independent research firm to compete for the honor.

The recognition identifies organizations committed to excellence in communication, work-life balance, team member education, diversity, recognition, and retention. Gun Lake Casino is the only casino nationwide named a Best and Brightest national award winner.

While having now been recognized on the list of Best and Brightest Companies to Work for five consecutive years (2020-2024), GLC was recently named an inaugural Elite status member for its commitment to team member enrichment, engagement, and retention, a press release says.

We are very proud of this recognition and are planning on celebrating this outstanding achievement throughout the month of July, our own Best and Brightest month, with many activities to reward our outstanding team members,” said Sal Semola, Chief Executive Officer of GLC.

We have always believed strongly that investing in team members is not just the right thing to do, but essential for continued success and growth as an organization. We are grateful for the support of our employer, the Gun Lake Tribe, in the providing the resources for us to fulfill that commitment.”

In May, the casino was also named one of the best companies to work for in West Michigan by the NABR.

Earlier this year, the casino announced a $10 million renovation to enhance its food and beverage, entertainment, and gaming amenities. It will entail the construction of a new Crossroads Casino Bar and lounge, a high-limit table games room, and a new restaurant, Lucky Dragon Noodle Bar, offering noodles and Asian cuisine.
