NFL Betting Breaks Records!

What an amazing week for gambling news! NFL betting shattered all-time records thanks to massive regulated gambling expansion! That growth also fueled record breaking revenue numbers for all forms of betting across America!

Hello my friends! It’s time for another stroll through the gambling news… the record breaking gambling news! With stories from casinos to sports betting to online gambling… and all of them are this week’s big stories! The NFL season just kicked off, and with 26 states plus the District of Columbia all having legal regulated sports betting, it’s going to be a record year… at least, that’s what our friends at the American Gaming Association say.

Estimates are that over 45 million people in the United States will participate in NFL betting this year… that’s an increase of over 40 percent from 2020! And if all that sounds just a little too good to be true well, consider this: According to GeoComply there were more than 58 million individual bets placed all across America for the opening weekend of the NFL season… and that’s just for the 18 states they keep track of! An increase of over 125 percent!

About 10 million Americans say that they will bet on sports at a casino at some point this year, while 15 million Americans say they will participate in fantasy sports for money. About 20 million Americans say they will place an online sports bet, and even more than that say they’re going to bet on sports with family and friends. Of course, it’s not just sports betting that’s breaking records in America, oh no no! Gambling revenue as a whole has been up across the entire country! The numbers for July just came in, and yes we’ve set another gambling revenue record with over $4.8 billion generated in gambling revenue!

So to surmise, NFL betting is exploding, and gambling as a whole is setting revenue records almost every month! Plus, after one week of the football season my fantasy team is undefeated! That last part really has nothing to do with the news, I just wanted to throw that in there. 🙂
