As part of a newly signed content supply deal, Habanero will provide its partner with access to its hugely popular games catalog.
Spain is the third market the studio has entered in partnership with Codere. Habanero has already integrated its portfolio with the brand’s Mexico- and Colombia-facing operations to cement its presence in the lucrative Latin American market.
It should also be noted that Codere is the latest Spain-licensed online gambling operator to team up with Habanero and launch its products in one of Europe’s largest regulated markets. The innovative online casino games developer entered the Spanish iGaming space this past April through a partnership with 888casino.
It was in April again when the supplier teamed up with Spain and LatAm-focused content aggregator Emara Play to grow its presence in these two important markets.
Habanero secured the necessary regulatory approval to offer its products in Spain in the spring of 2020 when the local regulator, DGOJ, certified 41 of its online slots and table games for the local online gambling space.
Including Spain, the provider’s content is available in more than 17 regulated territories.
Deal Crucial to Habanero’s Success
Commenting on their expanded business relationship with Codere, Habanero Head of Business Development Europe Arcangelo Lonoce said that they are delighted to be teaming up with the Spanish gambling giant once again as the operator already plays a key role in “bolstering the audience for our titles” across a number of key LatAm territories.
Mr. Lonoce went on to note that sealing agreements like this one is crucial to the success of their roadmap for he future and that they are looking forward to working alongside Codere and its talented team over the months to come.
Codere Casino Product Manager Sarit Adania added that Habanero’s renowned online slots portfolio has a “proven track-record of performance across a wide variety of demographics” and that they are delighted to be able to join forces with the developer once again and entertain together Spain’s online casino players.
This is the latest in a series of big announcements made by Habanero in recent months. In August, the company revealed a partnership with Lithuania-licensed iGaming operator 7bet that would enable it to enhance its presence in that particular market and in the Baltics as a whole.
In July, the studio obtained City of Buenos Aires registration that paved the way for its entry in the city’s newly opened regulated iGaming market.
