Malo Latinois’s Poker Background

Malo Latinois

The first cash of Latinois’ career came in the France Poker Open in January 2022, while his largest cash came the following February when he finished 16th in the €5,300 EPT Paris Main Event for €49,550 ($52,951), a result that accounts for over half his live earnings.

The rest come from a variety of tours across Europe and Morocco, including the Winamax Poker Open in Bratislava, and the Winamax SISMIX in Marrakech.

Now guaranteed $1,000,000, Latinois is only the sixth French WSOP Main Event final tablist after Marc Brochard (8th – 2008), Antoine Saout (3rd – 2009 & 5th – 2017), Sylvain Loosli (4th – 2013), Benjamin Pollak (3rd – 2017) and Antoine Labat (9th – 2018).

Malo Latinois’s Main Event Story

After only just bagging above starting stack on Day 1d, it was a strong second day’s play from Latinois to surge ahead to sit 50th in chips.

Tripling his stack on Days 3 and 4 helped keep him in contention — so much so that he was a top-10 stack at the end of Day 4.

Latinois headed into the final day’s play as the chip leader, but some poorly-timed doubles saw his stack whittled down, and it was only a double through fellow final tablist Jason Sagle that saw him back into contention. He starts the final table in eighth place, ahead only of Spaniard Andres Gonzalez.
