The 888poker XL Winter Series Mystery Bounty Main Event costs $888 to enter. Some 748 entries have been processed, with 110 progressing to Day 2, meaning another 431 players need to enter for the $1 million guarantee to be hit.

For your $888 investment, you receive 10,000 chips and play to blinds starting at 20/40/5a, which last 15 minutes. Late registration is available for 240 minutes, and each Day 1 concludes after the 19th level or when only 15% of the field remains.

Progress to Day 2, which starts at 9:00 p.m. GMT on January 27, and you’ll be able to win a mystery bounty for each opponent you send to the showers. Eight of those bounties are worth $10,000, four are worth $15,000, with a couple weighing in at $30,000. The jackpot mystery bounty is $100,000; imagine winning that!

Day 2 ends when the eight-handed final table is reached, with those eight finalists returning to their seats at 7:00 p.m. GMT on January 28. 888poker’s Twitch team is streaming cards-up action on an hour delay.

Starting Day 2 of the $1 million guaranteed XL Winter Series Mystery Bounty Main Event does not guarantee success, but it sure helps. If you want to progress to Day 2 with a top ten stack, you had better get accumulating chips on your chosen starting flight.
