Hristivoje Pavlovic Bags Big in WPTDeepStacks Main Event; Carl Froch Makes Day 2

The WPTDeepStacks Online festival is nearing it’s conclusion on partypoker but there is still plenty of action to follow as the $1 million guaranteed Main Event is currently underway. Three Day 1 flights have been completed with the fourth and final starting flight, operating under a turbo format, started today at 4:05 p.m. BST.

The WPTDeepStacks Main Event: $1M Gtd is a three day tournament with a buy-in of $1,100. Players begin Day 1 with a 250,000 starting stack and to make the second day of play, entrants have needed to survive 12×20 minute levels. So far, there have been a total of 912 entries in the first three starting flights with only 137 players making the cut for Day 2. With $912,000 already in the prizepool and one more Day 1 flight still to play out, the seven-figure guarantee is sure to be smashed.

Day 2 also gets underway today, kicking off at 8:05 p.m. BST. Play resumes with blinds at 17,500/35,000 and will end when just 9 players remain. A winner will be crowned on Tuesday, 26 October with the final day of action beginning at 7:05 p.m.
