Initial Dates Released for 20th WSOP Circuit Season; 18 US and International Stops Set in Stone

The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

What’s on the Circuit Schedule?

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.

Some of the most popular stops among Circuit players are back, such as Harrah’s Cherokee in Cherokee, North Carolina with events in August and November. Choctaw is the only other casino during the 2024 portion with multiple stops.

Among the other destinations on the schedule: Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs, Iowa (August 5-16), Isle of Capri in Pompano Beach, Florida (October 10-21), and a trip to Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California (November 14-25).

The 2023-2024 WSOPC season wrapped at Commerce with a memorable series that included the $1 million freeroll Tournament of Champions, won by Dong Meng for $200,000, the
first gold bracelet of the 2024 World Series of Poker.

Full schedules aren’t yet available for each stop, but that will happen within the coming weeks. But each stop will offer at least a dozen gold ring events, including a $1,700 Main Event (international Circuit stop Main Event buy-ins will vary). On top of the live Circuit events, WSOP Online will offer monthly Circuit tournaments to be released each month.
