FanDuel’s managing director of casino, Asaf Noifeld, announced his departure from the broader Flutter Entertainment family. The outgoing team member said that he believes his mission has been accomplished and noted that he is looking forward to the next chapter in his career.
“Mission Accomplished,” Noifeld Says
Noifeld announced his departure from the company on LinkedIn, saying that his time with Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel brand has been full of excitement. However, after 12 years with the Flutter family, he decided that it was the “right moment for the next adventure.”
For reference, Noifeld joined Flutter in 2014. At the time, he was unaware that his time with the company would shape him, both as a professional and as a person. Noifeld reminisced about how it all started, saying that his time with the company came shortly after he received a call from Sam Hobcraft.
It all started with a random cold call from Sam Hobcraft, who was PokerStars Casino’s first MD. PokerStars was a Poker-only, private company at the time, and he told me: “We’re going to build the biggest online Casino in the world, from scratch…”

Noifeld said that he told Hobcraft that he was “crazy” before adding that he was definitely coming. According to him, this turned out to be a “great decision.”
Flutter Turned Noifeld into a Team Player
Noifeld’s time at Flutter Entertainment allowed him to grow as a person. His time with the gaming giant saw him support multiple brands and serve multiple teams in different countries. His tenure at Flutter saw him relocate no less than four times, including the move to the US to join FanDuel.
All of this allowed Noifeld to learn a lot about product, strategy, leadership, growth, pressure, and competition. However, the best thing about the time he spent with Flutter was that he truly learned to be a team player.
I was lucky to work with many exceptional leaders and teammates, and even luckier to build real friendships through this journey.

Noifeld added that he is pleased with how far FanDuel Casino has come. He said that his departure is not with immediate effect and that he will remain around for the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.
