Top High-Stakes Pros to Headline Charity Poker Event in Las Vegas

Later this month, some of the top high-stakes poker players in the world will compete for a good cause in a charity poker tournament taking place in Las Vegas.

The Peak Humanity Charity Gala, hosted by poker commentators Henry Kilbane and Joey Ingram, as well as reigning GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri, will take place on June 29 at Moon & View at the Palms.

There will be a handful of other poker players and personalities in attendance, including recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) $50,000 High Roller champion Santhosh Suvarna, American pro Matt Berkey and poker broadcaster Drea Renee.

There will also be some celebrities in attendance, including former NFL linebacker Morlon Greenwood, another partner of the event.

Poker Royalty Playing Charity Event

Peak Humanity is a nonprofit that builds schools and other infrastructure for impoverished children worldwide. In an Instagram post, Kilbane shared that he personally helped build schools in Tanzania.

“The kids behind me are the entire reason this exists,” Kilbane wrote alongside a photo of him in Tanzania.

It is also a personal cause for Punsri, who is Thailand’s all-time money leader with over $37 million in live earnings — a large chunk of which was earned during his breakout year in 2025 that saw him winning POY.

The invite-only event will feature a $2,500 buy-in charity poker tournament, with the proceeds benefiting Peak Humanity, MG52, the Thai Poker Association, Space 2.0, and Nation’s Cry to raise money for “children’s education, welfare, and community projects across Tanzania, Thailand, Malaysia, and Las Vegas.”

Ahead of the tournament, which features $50,000 in cash prizes, there will be an open bar and a music set by DJ Natty Rico.

The event is in conjunction with the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), which has run dozens of charity events in Las Vegas. That includes the upcoming Rhino Rumble Poker Championship, which is taking place on June 28 at The Stirling Club and will be hosted by actress and poker player Shannon Elizabeth.
