Both Foxens Have Big Stacks Deep in Separate WSOP Events

Kristen Alex Foxen WSOP

The Foxen family has 10 combined bracelets — two this year. For now.

That number could increase to as many as 12 on Friday as both high rollers — Alex Foxen and Kristen Foxen — were deep and big-stacked in separate events at the time of publishing. Both future Poker Hall of Famers (maybe this year for Kristen?) have already won bracelets at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

But they’re looking for more, and to chase the WSOP Player of the Year award.

Alex is already atop the POY leaderboard, just ahead of Nick Schulman. Shaun Deeb, who had a headstart on the race after three final tables at WSOP Europe, has been struggling this summer, but is still in contention.

The race could turn into a blowout if Foxen goes on to win Event #47: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha. When the tournament was down to 15 players, he was second in chips after having spent most of the day with the chip lead. He won a key pot early in the session against Daniel Negreanu when he rivered a flush to crack a flopped set of kings.

Foxen, a four-time bracelet winner, would crack the $60 million mark in lifetime live tournament cashes recorded by The Hendon Mob with a first-place payout of $2,161,056. Kristen Foxen, who has six bracelets, has spent much of Thursday’s Day 2 session in Event #51: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold’em near the top of the chip counts. She’s looking for her second bracelet of the summer less than two weeks after taking down the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em for $1,777,083.

Mystery Bounty coverage will begin on livestream at 6:30 p.m. PT with 31 players remaining. Poker fans can also watch some High Roller PLO coverage when the tournament reaches its final table on Thursday night. Both events will conclude on Friday.

Alex Foxen is also expected to compete Friday night in Hustler Casino Live’s high-stakes cash game stream along with Ethan “Rampage” Yau and Nik Airball. But if he continues on his current path, he will be a late participant.
